|
|
The CHEAR Fellowship is a two-year fellowship that provides rigorous, interdisciplinary training in pediatric health services and outcomes research to clinical fellows and postdoctoral fellows. Competitive salary commensurate with NIH guidelines and benefits will be provided. We will be accepting applications for the 2027-28 academic year from Sept. 1 through Dec. 1, 2026.

New CHEAR faculty investigator Nina Hill, MD, MSc, received the AcademyHealth Child Health Services Research Outstanding Postdoctoral/Clinical Scholar Award from CHEAR director Kao-Ping Chua, MD, PhD, in Seattle, Wash., last month.

CHEAR faculty investigator Zubin Modi, MD, will be promoted to Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Pediatric Nephrology in the Department of Pediatrics effective Sept. 1, 2026.
Dr. Modi’s current work is focused on healthcare utilization of children with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the development of methods to identify these children in large databases. Clinically, he has interests in pediatric CKD and co-leads an international referral program for pediatric renovascular hypertension.
