Summer Internship Program

Summer Internship Call for Applications!

We are now accepting applications for our Summer Internship Program!

The Summer Internship Program runs annually from June-August and includes trainees at all levels. Trainees have numerous opportunities to interact and learn from faculty, both at the CHEAR Center and at the Institute for Healthcare Policy & Innovation (IHPI). The Program culminates with student presentations, which are attended by faculty and staff within the CHEAR Center. 

This year the 10-week program will run June 3 to August 9, 2024.

The Susan B. Meister Child Health Evaluation and Research (CHEAR) Center at the University of Michigan is one of the largest pediatric health services research centers in the U.S., with 17 investigators and over 30 staff.

Training Opportunities at CHEAR

Apply to the CHEAR fellowship. This fellowship provides two years of support for physicians and PhD scientists interested in gaining rigorous training in pediatric health services research. We are now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 academic year.
