CHEAR provides seminars on Tuesday mornings from 9:10 to 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise indicated in the calendar of CHEAR events. There are three seminar series that are offered: CHEAR, Methods, and Fellows. The details regarding each series are listed below. Registration is required.
CHEAR Seminar
The CHEAR Health Services Research (HSR) Seminar provides a forum for presentation of research findings from across the University of Michigan child health services research community and beyond. This seminar series meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from September through May. The CHEAR HSR Seminar is a one CME credit event.
Methods Seminar
The CHEAR Methods Seminar provides a forum to: 1) introduce novel methodologic approaches to health services research; 2) provide opportunities for trainees and junior faculty to present journal articles with methodologies of interest; and 3) build a community of pediatric health services researchers interested in advancing the methodology of pediatric HSR. The seminar series meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September through May.
Fellows Seminar
Topics for the Fellows seminar are developed to support the specific fellow and their research projects. The series meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month from September through May.
